We had Northern pike in the lake I summered at. They used to cruise the lillypads at dusk looking for fish and frogs. Everyone was afraid of them except me. If I had a 1/2 hectare pond....
One of the reasons I like wilds so much is that long, graceful demeanor.
Yeah, you know about photographing coppers...LoL. I'm really taken with your green plakat.
I hear trout fishing is great in NZ. I'd have loved to have visited there to fly those beautiful mountains in my hanglider or in a sailplane.
Thanks for the 'friends'list' invite. I'm delighted.
Didn't even know what a "copper" or "metallic" was until I actually had a couple. My avatar turuqoise Giant changed colors as radically as this copper guy. I, too love shiny fish even though they're impossible to get good photos of. If I had a 75g. I'd have a few hatchets...my favorite color---chrome ;-}
I just read on a thread how difficult it is for your to import quality fish. This makes your album fish all the more remarkable. I particularly like that album-cover green PK ---as well you can see, heheheh. That's not your avatar fish, is it? And all those beautiful horny girls.
Thanks. Best Petco fish I've had, even though he wasn't the "giant" they charged me for. A real junkyard dog of a fish, he looks like he was manufactured or forged out of copper foil and metal beads.
How many fish are you keeping right now? I know you breeders sometimes lose track...LoL
