Vegetable oil should be safe. The instructions for metro usually say to use 1tsp. It is really hard to overdose it so it should be safe.

haha funny! but what a torture! lol
Yup, that's about right, we ate out a lot while living in NYC, but I don't think we even covered a tenth of it! What a bummer you are allergic to curry I love indian food! Thank goodness as there are gazillion Indian restaurants in Dubai too...at least I learned the difference in the regional Indian cuisines You just can't stand the spiciness of it or is there a specific ingredient you are allergic to?

Haha...I think I prefer certain American Chinese dishes that you can't get anywhere else, one of the example is General Tso Chicken. I always go back to my favorite chinese take-out for it when I go back to NYC. *drools* I don't care for "mainland" Chinese unless it's provincial cuisines like Szechuan or Yunnan etc. Love Japanese! I can eat sushi everyday! My favorite fried noodle is Malaysian "Char Kway Teow" YUM!

haha...I think it's late for you in the west coast now...not a good time to feel hungry

Very true...about the food. I generally "like" the country more if they have good food that fit my palate. My days revolve around food......it's a good thing I don't cook, or I would be the biggest ball rolling around the earth in search for more food lol
