I know it really sucks that I am losing him. I don't want him to suffer, though I am probably sure I will have a hard time euthanizing him.

Okay, I guess I will have to do that over the weekend. Maybe I will get another Betta, but I will wait, it will take a while to get over it.

Where would I get clove oil? I asked my Mom to get some but I don't know where you would get it at. I love animals and would rather not have fish all over me. I think if he has been sick for so long I think he is in the advance stages.

What would be the way to clean the tank? I know I have to take everything out and bleach it. What about cleaning live plants? I have Anubias that I don't want to get rid of, the other plants suck because of the algae.

Erg, not so good, I just went to clean the water and all of his scales ate raised. Barely moving, just floating actually, breathing super hard. I say dropsy, I think...

Not sure if I should euthanize or what, he is obviously suffering so I don't know, can it be treated at this stage?

How many gallons was the tank you were gonna sell me? If it is a 10 and comes with a hood I may have to get it lol. My shrimp tank is sucking and I want to upgrade for more. Though I am not sure about the cyclying part because Ihave no room for another tank so I have to get rid of one which will be the shrimp tank. What type of lights does it use? The long ones or the little ones?

He's puking a lot. Don't know why. You think he's eating bad stuff or what? He;s inside only but junk comes through the crack under the door.

Sakura, good idea :D honestly, I'm starting to question whether she actually has parasites or something else is wrong with her. Her behavior hasn't changed at all, she's been pretty active, no listlessness or anything. And he poop is normal colored and "textured", not white or stringy. And none of the other girls have shown any signs whatsoever of having anything. What do you think? :/

Alright will do after dinner is done and I eat.

Grrr did you look at the first thread in the betta care section that says I went on vacation and my roomates did this? It is terrible. The fish is so beat up.

So for my 16 gallon I decided on cherry barbs since they can be kept at a higher pH and are super hardy. They look good too, hopefully I can get some females and not all males. I don't know if I will have a Betta or a gourami. I really want a dragon scale.

I can try to catch him. I came home and he was darting around the tank, then sunk to the bottom. I think he is going crazy lol. I did a large water change yesterday so mirrored and nitrates should be fine, I am still battle an algae that won't go away even with having lights off/on for a very short time.

What's the best way to capture him?
