Hello! I was googling around and saw a post you made on a thread last year. It said when you introduced your sorority females, it took 3 times before they got along. What did you do to reintroduce them? Did you quarantine them for longer- if so how long? Any specific details I'd love you to share. My sorority will be introduced Wednesday and I'm very nervous! Thanks!

I would so love a fish room. Yeah, and we just switched from a flat water fee to a meter. I have a feeling my rent will be upped to cover the water/electricity I use. I leave the lights off in the betta tanks most of the time to keep the algae down anyway.

Newbies sound like they are pet store employees because that's where they got their knowledge. :(

Sang! Your water and electric bill must be crazy lol, i think you need a fish room heated for warm water fish so tanks stay at like 78-76 and then keep some heaters invade you need to turn up the temperature to fight a disease. But now I guess it being so hot here, you must not even need heaters, unless you have ac. Hope your loaches are okay!

Newbies that give totally wrong advise upset me cause they sound Luke petsore employees. Hopefully they will learn though...

Thats good! they must be blocking out the light and sucking up the excess nutrients so algae can't grow. The good thing is that now you can just throw the excess that grow, into the pond so the koi and goldfish have food.

How many bettas do you have again?

Sorry, so apparently wi-fi is hard to come by in upstate New York!

Is he still having trouble? If so, daphnia would be a good next step. Gotta keep his digestive track moving.

Well fish do seem to poop a lot when they are handled/netted! I'm glad everything is working out for you two. If the opportunity ever arises for you to use the mineral oil, do let me know how it works out!
