It could be something called fatty liver disease, that I've heard OFL talk about. I'm not very familiar with this condition so I'll look it up and do a bit of research. Or it could have been one very, very, very bad case of parasites. But I somehow don't think it was parasites because he would have lost condition, gotten skinnier and more lethargic. On the other hand, maybe we just discovered that epsom salt shrinks tumors.

Will do! :) He's more energetic and he isn't tipping as much. If it wasn't a tumor, what is it? Now that it is getting smaller, I see lumps within the bulge. Should I be worried about that?

Really? Oh that would be wonderful news! If that's the case then it would mean it's not a tumor! I really hope he makes a full recovery. I love to be wrong on those kinds of diagnoses. Hi, I just wanted to let you know the betta I have with a tumor is getting better (I think.) His bulge looks smaller and he's starting to get color back in his abdomen! I'm trying not to get my hopes up. lol.
