No dialysis for my mom...yet. Her nephrologist said her kidney will fail in the next 6-12 months though. So far things are okay. It's hard waiting, but hopefully the wait will be worth it & things will go well.

I know it's so hard waiting. I guess I was kind of lucky, I was younger when my mom's transplant happened so I didn't quite get the whole implications of it all. My mom's donor actually turned out to be a close family friend and a relative by marriage (oh it is such a weird long story) so don't give up, the donor could be anywhere!

Is your mom doing dialysis in the meanwhile?

I am about to pass out-first day in a long time skating & doing Zumba Toning in one day. I'll be doing that 3 times a week, better get used to it ;)

Thanks for reminding me about your mom :) Helps me feel less alone knowing others who have been where I am. I may not be getting cut open, but as her proxy, it's a lot of pressure. We're all hoping for a good outcome like your mom had.

Yes, there was some concern about Igor's taking on of new clients and not devoting as much time to the top 3 teams. It's kinda cool to have connections & hear fun new gossip. I miss it up there pretty badly right now.

Should be heading to bed. Trying to get back on school time-whatever that is ;) And Jack's crabbing at me for food. Like I would ever starve him...

Thanks! I get some "chemical help" for energy-I have ADD, so I get to cheat a little. I get tired these days easily. Hopefully being back on a "normal" schedule with school, dance & skating I won't have time to think about it. I start back Monday, but our studio gets going tomorrow-yay :)

You know, it's not all that far away from me ;) I haven't been to Kentucky in years & it would be awesome to go. If I can go train in Ann Arbor, I can certainly drive to Versailles. Going to have to think about that. I'm dying to get back to riding, but it's just SO expensive. Esp since I'm trying to get back into figure skating too.

Got back on the ice today for the first time in 8 months! Things were a little rusty, but I'm hoping to go again Friday. My jumps esp are different. I'm landing further back on the blade & that's not good. I've been SO focused on dance.

I'm SO jazzed about seeing Meryl & Charlie compete in the 2014 Olympics! Did you hear about the scandal with one of their coaches? They are staying with Marina at Canton's Arctic Edge & Igor got fired! Champs Camp is coming up soon & they'll release what music this season's programs will be. I'd love to go up & visit in October, but with school & so many nights at the studio, it's going to be hard.

A filly would be so amazing. I wish I lived close enough to visit Lane's End.
