Yeah, I need to find someone selling it on Aquabid... So I will try and go to the aquarium store and get crypts and see how much frogbit is as it does really good in my tank when it gets settled.

I'm surprised water lettuce is illegal. I know there are some water ways out in the delta that are literally choked with water hyacinth. I saw it on the news. The boat could barely make it through. I do have water hyacinth but they don't do so well in tanks. It's working wonders in the koi pond though.

I need to order some more plants then and find someone with water lettuce as I love that stuff, why is it not allowed?

Okay looks like I need to go to my LFS and get some nice crypts, I think they have floating plants too, not much, I will see how much those would be.

Oh yeah. :( No more floating plants. What I put in the koi pond got eaten and the ones in the sorority are struggling in the poor light.

I might be tearing it down within the next week or so, actually. I'm going to my LFS in a few hours and depending on what advice they have for the snails and algae problem, I could tear it down sometime this weekend. They just got over a small bout of ich, though. :/ I could ship them, sure but I can also see if I can make it to Fremont.

Do you have any water lettuce or frogbit still? Mine took a huge toll and hasn't been recovering, I would purchase it and maybe you can ship it with the rummynose if I still get them.

Would you be shipping them to me? I am trying to find a fish for the 15 gallon, and I do really love rummynoses... So sure! If you tell me when you might be tearing the tank down I will try to adjust my tank. I need to buy crypts so I can have a foregroundish plant in the sorority.

Should I still quarantine them? I don't have a tank to accommodate them so that would be a problem. I would buy a 10 gallon to quarantine all my stuff, but then I would turn it into a shrimp tank lol.

Yeah. But the replacements for the Fluval, even with Amazon Prime, are still outrageous. o.O Crazy. Hey, if I tear the tank down, would you be interested in 10 rummynose tetras?

The fluval system hangs on the tank, problem is the CO2 cartridges for that can get costly, Amazon is the best bet, especially if you do have Amazon Prime.

I am tempted to get a 10 gallon kit that uses fluorescent tubes for my plakat and have some other fish with him like maybe 10 neons, and just seed the filter and build the bacteria with ammonia, then add plants after the cycle so I have more than I need. I will run the cost and see if buying the tank, heater, filter, and lights are cheaper or if I should just buy a kit and use the TOM to circulate, and the other filter baffled to filter. I think I will use ADA soil if it isn't too expensive if so, ecocomplete.

I plan on moving the filters with the fish so the bacteria in those will be safe. I think it'll kill snails (says to remove invertebrates) but I'm not sure about bacteria. I know chemicals are generally frowned upon. This is a last resort for me. I have nowhere to put a C02 system by the 20gal, the way it's situated on my dresser. :(
