Sounds fine, so excited! I need to order a heater though lol, at least it only takes 2 days though.

Yeah I haven't had any melt so far, so things are looking good. None of the Crypts have melted and two little ones have sent up a new leaf. I am also getting more dwarf water lettuce as well.

Yeah, it's like the crown thing at the top of the roots.

Does next Saturday work for you?

Whoops replied on my page lol.

I finally got around to making a thread for my sorority, it has pictures from the day I set it up till about 10 minutes ago lol. That is where your rummies will be going. It has good flow and good cover for them. I hope the ladies don't mind them. I will make sure to put them in a bag before so the bettas can see them and Ican make sure they don't go attacking them. Oh I also gave you a thanks in there for the plants lol.

The crypts should do well in your substrate, being rosette plants. They don't need C02 as much as stem plants, as far as I know.

Thanks for the advice, I separated the Crypts as there was multiple plants, but they were runners, so I had to slowly and very delicately pull them apart. I am gonna post a picture of the stages of my tank, from start up, till today. Oh I even hung my light so less light is entering, I may still do DIY co2, I will wait and see how it works out with the light like a foot off the tank.

I ordered from plantedaquariumscentral. Use the coupon code BETTAS for a discount when checking out. That sounds like an awesome amount of crypts. If they start to melt, just trim them off close to the rosette. Olympia told me they'll grow back faster that way.

I finally got around to going to my LFS and I got two pots of crypts for $12, which is a good deal as I got at least twelve plants. The tank has been mildly rescaped, just a move of plants, and ridding two swords to my sister. Hopefully the Crypts fill in the space so it isn't as open. I am really loving the openness as now there is a bigger viewing area., the girls might not like their forest of rotala being relocated, but it is more dense now.

Where did you order all your plants again?

That's fine. Say, what is a better day for you for the rummynose exchange, Saturday or Sunday? Should be in about two weeks, I think.

Yeah I know, the males weren't fighting as much even when the females were aclimating, so that's good.

Yeah, I wouldnt mind giving you some if they do breed. I may not ship them as I wouldnt know how to do that as I have to go through an entire process and everything. I may make a trip up to Elk Grove for something.
