Yeah, my oldest sister, she moved out then moved back after her boyfriend cheated on her (she's like 29) started to yell at my mom when my mom got really good pizza and she didn't get what she wanted, yet she said combination was fine earlier... She also doesn't pay rent to live here, which has been like 3 years...

I only quarantine when I feel I should, if a plant has algae I don't get it, snails I put in the tank to eat algae, but I feed sparingly so if food is low they start to die out. I don't have an excess of food laying around either.

Oh your rummynose have started to surface feed already lol. The endler has only eaten one pellet so far, I may put him and one or two females in with the shrimp if they don't do good (haven't got females for him yet, I went to Neptune, but they are more plants and reef, but carry what is hot I guess you would call it.

Haha, yeah, well, too nice is definitely better than too strict. My parents are on the too nice side also so I know what you mean, though. :)

You don't QT your plants do you? How do you avoid ending up with snails?

Sometimes she can be too nice lol... On one of you Facebook posts your picture was on there, so I remember seeing you.

No problem, I might see if I can add him, with one or two females to the shrimp tank if it doesnt work out with the girls. He is really pretty though! I love the patterns on endlers, I am going to keep the "wild" strain going. I don't want to mix with any other hybrid if I can.

It is only $1 more expensive on Foster and Smith so I am gonna look at ordering one for the 5.5 just for flow, or I will get the Tetra PF10 rocking a pothos plant to keep parameters low (gonna do this in the shrimp tank with a filter too.

It was really great meeting you too! Now that I've seen you, I'm pretty sure I saw you at the betta show but just didn't know it. Your mom is really nice too. :)

Haha, thanks for taking the endler too. He was driving me (and my guppy) crazy. XD I'm glad the rummynoses are already colored up. Being schooling fish, they do tend to be timid but I think they'll definitely get used to you soon.

    I got mine on fostersandsmith.

It was nice seeing you today! I figured all the rummies were acting normal so I just slowly acclimated them to the tank water. The endler stays at the back in the rotala, as Rarity likes to chase him, but I want to see him more often. The rummies are all schooling together, good sign, and they are no longer washed out. I hope they grow use to me and the tank, right now they swim away when you walk by lol.

Where did you buy yours? I checked Amazon, but they were sold out.

That's crazy about the differences in price. o.O I have an Azoo palm filter but I haven't used it yet; I meant to switch it with a filter I have running in a 3gal and never got around to it. I think it's a pretty good filter though I'm not sure how noisy it is. That reminds me, I probably should switch them tomorrow during water changes.

Alright, hopefully they do, because my girls can horde so much food when I am trying to give a few more pellets to one of them. I guess my girls do feed on one side. For some reason the 4.4 pound Shrimp stratum is $16, yet the 8.8 is $18? Seems stupid if you go for the 4.4 lb lol. I need to save my money up lol, I need enough for atleast the 5.5 gallon tank, the 16.7 pounds of stratum (using it in the shrimp tank as well). I would also like to het The Azoo Palm Filter for some more current, or I will use another filter and have a pothos plant growing in it to take care of nitrates.

I'm sure they'd eat flake too or even the betta food. What you may end up doing is feeding the bettas first and feeding the rummynoses at night. On the other hand, they may get more aggressive for food if they have to start competing for it. In my tank, their only competition are two small male guppies. They also tended to let a lot of food go by and then would later pick it off the sand but I don't think that's normal feeding behavior. Fish in my care rarely act normal, for some reason. o.O

I'm not 100% but I think the Fluval Shrimp and the regular Fluval Stratum are almost identical. And I totally know what you mean about the amazon site. :D

I totally forgot to go buy NLS small fish food! It was on my mind to do, but yeah I will go to Petco and hopefully they have it there. I will make sure i have it before I get them. lol. I hope the bettas don't eat all their food if they don't come up to the top to feed...

I found out what I am gonna use in the shrimp tank and in Mars's tank when I redo it... Fluval Stratum! Not bad for the price on Amazon (I need to stop going on that site lol) plus I get the free 2 day shipping on it so why not right? Hopefully 16.7 pounds will cover the 5.5 and the 10 gallon (It is super light so thats why it should cover so much) If not I will buy the shrimp stratum and put it on top of the plant stratum, it is just smaller grain, or so thats what I heard.

The rummynoses are acting perfectly normal so I have no idea what caused their tiny bout with ich. They are swimming and schooling actively. I didn't feed them tonight just so they'll be hungrier and eat more readily for you. I've been feeding them New Life Spectrum Small Fish formula pellets and a variety of frozen foods but they will almost certainly eat anything as soon as they adapt to it. They only thing is they are midwater feeders as far as I can tell. They've never swum up to the surface to feed for me.

I think we should be there somewhere between 12-1PM, most likely 12:30PM. I still have your number so I will call you when we get closer. The phone number I gave you is to a phone that died so I'll be calling on my dad's cell phone; if any name comes up it would be Jerry Monroe.
