I know people say platies are hardy but mine never were. I've gotten like 6 platies in as many months and only 1 is still alive. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed for your bumblebees. Such cute things, I hope they make it.
Thank you Sakura, that means a lot. :) They came from Petco, I'm not sure if the one that died was pregnant or not. Hopefully the remaining two are fine. Whenever I have a fish die I always go through a stage of obsessing over everything I do, water parameters, etc. Even if it wasn't my fault. Thanks again! That makes me feel better.
Hi LionCalie! I'm so sorry to hear about your platy. :( Where did you get it? I've found that the platies I've gotten from Petsmart never make it very long. I think it's because they overcrowd those tanks so bad. Or, was she pregnant? Sometimes pregnant platies abort or give premature birth when they're moved and then they tend to die afterwards. Happened to two of my platies and two guppies, also. I don't think it's anything you did though so don't blame yourself. *hugs*
I agree with you. I don't even drive. It wasn't a problem until I got into fish, though, because I never went anywhere. Now my poor dad is always waiting in the car at various pet stores. >.> Sorry dad. That sounds like a neat riding program. There's one near me called Project RIDE that I should really volunteer at but every time I think about it, I get nervous and decide not to in case I flake out on them.
But hey, we'll get through this, won't we? Nowhere to go but up. :) As Diablo said, keep on swimming.
Hiya! It's comforting to see someone in a similar situation, but sad too because I know how hard it can be. I wish I could do normal things like go to school or have a job. I volunteer with Horses For Healing.
Hi Lion. Too many pages went by in the thread but I just wanted to say I'm like you. I'm on disability too. It's to help out my folks since I still live with them. What riding program do you volunteer with?
