Guppies are so pretty. They're really pretty easy to take care of, although as your friend learned, if you mix a guy and a gal, you get a whooole lot of them. I noticed you posted a guppy thread a few days ago, I'll go track it down. :)

A very terrible sickness the Betta Bug is, isn't it?

Harlot's fins have grown back and he's all purty again. :) Merlotte is starting to get an attitude like his brother. They are both my babies and wonderful dorm companions! How are yours?

And you have guppies too! My Betta Bug may be branching out, since the girls upstairs just accidentally mixed a male and female guppy and now there are 18 in one small bowl. I kind of want to take a few... I wonder if they'll live though. Are they essentially the same as Bettas, as far as care and tanks go?

*shakes head* What ARE we going to do with you, Harlot? Silly boy making your mother work so hard. Well, I guess the bright side is now you know the drill for healing up fins. :) And Merlotte is gorgeous, you found yourself another super handsome guy.

All of my betta babies are doing well. The ones with tattered fins are growing them back so I'm happy. And I'm up to 13 now. It's a sickness. A very bad, incurable sickness, this betta bug.

Sakura, thanks for checking in on me! Yes, I did get a new boy. His name is Merlotte, and you can see him here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/oci2/merlotte.png ... isn't he a pretty boy? :) You can't tell in the pic, but he has orange eyes! Harlot is... well, Harlot. I nursed him back to full-fledged gorgeousness with my blood sweat and tears and he goes and rips it all off again! I'm determined to think he's a masochist. His brother, on the other hand, is kind docile, and is only aggressive when it comes to food. How are your babes doing? It's been a while! :)
