Ah, I've never experienced the joys of receiving a fish by mail. I get impatient just waiting for my order to arrive, I'd probably be pacing at the end of the driveway waiting for a fish.

Wow, that female of yours didn't have much in the way of smarts, did she? And yeah, my super clumsy cat thought she could use the tank lid as a stairway to the windowsill. Wrong. Kersplash. Then when she clambered out of the tank and onto the windowsill, she slipped and stepped in the filter on another tank. Luckily for her the tank she fell in was only a 2.5g with two cory cats in it for new fish isolation.

Haha, there's always an open bed at Sakura Hospital but I hope neither your nor your fish ever have to use it. But if you do, I'll put you between my guy Crichton who bit off all his tail after getting stressed (cat fell in the tank next to his and caused a huge commotion) and my paralyzed betta Scooter who can't swim but scoots around on his tail. And I hope Sherman gets better, too, he's my special guy because he was my first betta. I can't wait to see your new guy and his sister. You're probably like camped out by the door waiting for the mail, haha.

Nexangelus, hi! Everyone's doing great except Sherman, who's on medicated pellets. He's acting all droopy and hiding a lot so I want to make sure he doesn't have a bacterial infection. How is your new guy doing? Have you gotten him yet?

I have a betta that is very much like yours! All curly and wiggly. Maybe we own a new tail variety? Although I've just been calling him a rosetail cause that is the closest tail strain to him at the moment. Hope your new fish is doing well!

Hehe, thank you! I try to help people best I can with what I know. I dont have fancy pants stuff, no co2 or special fertilizers, so its easy to recommend to beginners :D Haha, I'm glad my fish isn't the only one... Little stinker!! I appreciate the compliments!! :3

Sorry for so many posts! Dumb 1k limit :C

I give up. This fish is a jerk, he does this on purpose lol!

My anubias EXPLOSION. I propagated a larger section of the rhizome with my extacto knife and it lived, so I cut small, sharp slits into the sides...And now I have a literal explosion on one side of new leaves. Its hilarious, silly plant. (Would you believe this tiny thing has grown 3x from when I got it? What!)

I plan on getting more plants while at school, to beef my tanks back up. I have a feeling the bf will want to keep quite a bit of what hes plant sitting lol!

More recent photos, after getting rid of some of the anachairs and wisteria that decided to over take the tank, haha.

I swear, this fish photobombs every single shot. Sigh.

My giant ferns... They're quite robust, Im proud of them, considering most that get sold around here are awful. Theyre doing well!

Hey there! Here are a few shots of my current set up. Im at my parents atm, which forces me to one 5 gallon tank, which blows. Most of my plants are with my boyfriend for the summer, so a large amount are missing. I usually have two heavily planted tanks, which these pics do no credit, grr! :(
I tend to keep plant that are easy to rip right out, considering I move so much between college and home (grasses are not my friends lol!)

A few weeks ago, after being thinned out- I have to divide it again shortly.

Some more of my displaced plants, at the bf's. I miss my hygros!! (Right side)

Some older pics of whats also in my tank, in my bf's atm-

Greetings Nexangelus, thank you for the friend invite. You are great fun to correspond with and my fish and I appreciate your sense of humor. I can tell Sherman does because I see the bubbles in the tank when he laughs. Or maybe he's farting. Do fish fart?
