If you have a small tank or even a small rubbermaid, you can pop him in that. Odessas can tolerate temps down to the 60's. Legend has it that in the early part of last century, vendors in Moscow would carry them in flasks in their breast pockets to keep them warm while they tried to sell them. Yeah, single barbs are nippy little brats. Even in big schools they can be relentless. But he's sure a pretty thing. :)

Never heard of them, I will have to try to find more aquarium shops, I am tired of being limited by Petcos or Petsmart selection. I will still go to them, but I love seeing different fish, especially since at Neptune Aquatics all their fish are brilliant, salt and fresh. The nice thing is they have people that specialize in fresh and salt water so you always get good help. Their clarinet service is amazing, and plus they are all really nice. They have driftwood as well in many different sizes and shapes, they even have the branchy type wood.

Where are the two that you were talking about? And does one carry nerite snails? I wanna get one or two, but shipping a couple snails is pretty steep.

Hey copperarabian, since I know you live close to me. Have you ever been to an aquatic shop called Neptune Aquatics? If not check them out, they sell ADA products, they use CO2 in their planted tanks, and they are really friendly. They even sell wild bettas sometimes. Their website is just their name. It's off Montague and by Trade Zone.

i don't have very good pictures of my own fish, otherwise i'd have more of my own on there, mostly I reblog a lot lol.

i think care guides would be a good idea, especially when i get these asks like the one about the goldfish. i could refer them there with the facts already cited.

Oh wow. Talk about a custom built bike. That's pretty cool and it sure seems a lot safer than having the bird ride on one's shoulder.
