I hate to bug you again (seems like that's all I do) but for making a metro soak for food, what would the dosage be? 1 tsp of metro? I found some instructions on Hikari's HealthAid website but it called for using grain alcohol as a binder. Not sure about that. So I was going to go with some instructions I found in one of my disease books that uses a small amount of vegetable oil as the binder.

She was going to be part of my sorority, if she doesn't get worked up its fine? Good, that's a relief, she seems pretty easygoing. If not, I'll just get her a new tank. Thanks DM :)

Hi dark moon, I have a question regarding inflamed gills. Last week I bought a girl, and she came to me with it. Since then, she's been in 1sp a gallon AQ salt and a healing dose of Stress Coat. Problem is, 10 days since I bought her, her gill is still inflamed. From what I've read, any more than 10 days in AQ salt risks permanent damage. So, i noticed in your explanation of it, you said it could be hereditary. Does this mean that she's healthy, just has a puffy gill, or she'll die as soon as I take her out of salt? She isn't gasping anymore, just breathing normally, and the time she escaped(she's floating in my 10 gallon) she seemed fine, but it was only for maybe 15 minutes before I noticed. Sorry I babbled, thanks if you answer :)

DarkMoon, I just wanted to let you know Crichton passed this morning. He had begun to seriously pinecone so I figured it wasn't going to be long. I want to really thank you for all the help you gave me and the advice. Riceball wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for you and Crichton wouldn't have had even a fighting chance. Thank you so much. :)
