Eww parasites... Well, the easiest & most effective method imo would be API general cure and 2tsp/gal Epsom Salt with daily 100% water changes with redose of the meds. If you have a filter and beneficial bacteria in the home tank then QT him and float him in his tank to keep him warm. Increase temp to 84*F. Clean the tank very well before putting him back in. Make sure to siphon the gravel and rinse the filter material. Good luck!

Hi, my PK is having issues with internal parasites it seems and someone referred me to you :)
soo.. people have suggested curing with api general cure, jungle's parasite fizzy meds, epsom salt, anti-parasitical/garlic juiced pellets, etc. which do you think is the best way to go? the white strands he pooped out looked wormy, not thready at all. and the best part: IT DIDNT POOP OUT. it freakishly snuck its way back into his gut he seems to have some deteriorating of his fins, mostly his pectorals, as they are becoming ragged and white? oh and he has cloudy eye spots again, but on both eyes this time. currently i have AQ salt and jungle fungus clear on hand. hes still active and eating. theres a thread about it in the diseases section if you need any additional info. ive posted pics in there.
