Why thank you! I didn't think anyone thought my rambles were interesting! The fine, delicate rays on crowntail fins tend to wither and fray when you get into the higher spectrum of hardness. Hardness is actually bad for betta fins in general, but crowntails seem to take it the worst.

And thank you! What do you mean, you can't keep crowntails in hard water?
