I just posted pics of their first flaring session. Maybe they are both boys. They were fascinated by the ants in the grass. lol.

Right now I'm guessing that the larger one is a girl and that the smaller fiester one is a boy but it's too early to tell. I can see a little bit of a beard with the smaller one, but it might just be his/her lighter coloring allowing it to show. I also tried shining a small flashlight to look for irridenscence (sp?) and the littler one has red irridescence in his/her fins. The fins look light black without the extra light. BTW, you BF's fish Feugo is gorgeous! No names yet. I think I need to have the personalities emerge. I'll try to post pics tomorrow when I have daylight. I still need to post a picture of the copper HMPK that I bought from ninebettas. The HMPK's name is Bling. :)

Neat! Are yours males you think or females? We have one definite male, and I think 2 others could be males since they seem more aggressive/were flaring at the others more... and one looks to have slightly longer fins... then the rest seem really docile, so i think they may be the females. Not sure. :) You should post pics!

I got my two bettas from NIB today. One has dark fins with black horizontal stripes and a darkish body. The other one is smaller and has dark fins and a light colored body. The smaller one seems to be more of a spitfire so far.
