Thank you. The thing is we don't have any spare tanks or containers that have soap. I think I might have to treat him in his tank and then when he's well do a thorough tank cleaning with hot water and vinegar. I'm getting some IAL to help as well. I use reverse osmosis water so I don't think I need conditioner. His beard has white on it with some black. I can't tell if it's coloring as he usually keeps it close to himself and it looks mangled like he fought it and won and his rays look filed down like picket fence posts rather then forked. I've been so worried. He's settled down and I checked on Maka she has white on her small 'beard' as well but no black. She definietly stressed though.

Harley I need help. I think Akira has fin-rot. Remember that member who's fish had shortened rays and damaged anal fins? Akira's looking like that except his beard has white and now black on it. I'm so scared for his life. I need help. I already left a note since it's late where I am to pick up AQ salt tomorrow just in case but I'm so scared. His normally spiny fins are looking filed....His rays look like their slowly softening from sharp looking to filed.
