its a java fern, so awesome to hear. I have a spot in my 29 for something like that, my java moss just isn't growing so I wanted something for the other half. thank you for the response. I'll have to track some down

It is Microsorum Pteropus 'Trident' aka Slim Leaved Java Fern. Grows well under any conditions and looks cool :)
