No, Rottweiler's are a whole other ballgame. If I get another basset, there's a rescue near me in NJ. I've been checking out their dogs from time to time. I don't think I'd go the petstore route again. I mean, I have no complaint, she's healthy and smart. But she was there for a month, and just LOONY from confinement and lack of training.

Do they fly them to you? I love Rottweilers. They're great dogs. I love their big heads and their sweet eyes. <3 Too big for me and this condo though. Too much dog. Although Molly is 58lbs right now. I got a lecture at the vet. :/

I got her at a local pet store. I tried to contact Basset breeders in my area but no one ever got back to me and I had my heart set on a basset. She was a complete MONSTER as a puppy. I mean, I had welts and bruises from her jumping up and nipping me while we were walking.

It took me a good 2 months to get it out of her system. I used to have to stand on her leash so she couldn't jump or run around me and then I'd ignore her til she calmed down. She was unmanageable. But I worked hard, she worked hard, now she's my best pal. I always tell people, you don't buy a great dog, you make one.

She loves Sojos mix so that helps me feel good about it. You could always try straight instant raw oats if you wanted to. You just soak them in water for like 10-15 minutes instead of cooking them. That's how Sojos works. So it's still 'raw' just not raw meat. Lol!

That's half the reason I mix her meat with Sojos Original Mix (Rolled Oats, Rye Flakes, Barley Flakes, Ground Pecans, Tricalcium Phosphate, Kelp, Carob Powder, Parsley, Basil, Alfalfa, Vitamin D3). To cut down on price. She's supposed to get 1lb of the raw meat a day. I cut her back to about half a pound, so she gets about 4-5oz of raw and about 3/4 of a cup of the oatmeal mix, twice a day. The 1lb a day would run me something like 86 dollars a month (if I went and got it myself instead of shipping, which added 20 bucks). She's 58lbs as of her vet visit this week. Ideally I need her at 55. We both need to de-pudge. :)

And everyone should have a basset! :D Big dog, little chassis!

If he's quiet they might never know. I'd probably do it too. I have a cat who pees on any carpet that gets put down and while sometimes I'd like to punt her, instead I just got rid of almost all the carpet. :P I hope you get it worked out. Do you know anyone who could take the kitty? And... I've never heard of declawing four feet?

I mostly worked in the infant room and while there wasn't a lot of running around craziness, babies are a handful. At one point there were two of us caring for 12 babies (WAAAY over ration). I quit not long after that. I also assisted in the kindergarten. One kid had terrible milk allergies and another had seizures and had to wear a helmet all the time.

I can't believe they don't have controls. How old are the brothers? I remember sneaking Saturday Night Live and Eddie Murphy Raw when I was in 3rd grade. :P

No. I worked in daycare and as a Nanny for lots of years. I had tons of kids! Lol!

I guess they don't have parental controls for it? I never looked.

I know. I'm going to downgrade to just streaming. I never send them back in a timely fashion.

I'll watch it tomorrow! That's so interesting about the face. Molly can read me like a book. That's probably why! For as long as we've been together, dogs and people, I'm not surprised. Molly goes everywhere with me. She's my constant companion. And it's natural to us. I wanna watch it tomorrow! Aren't there two up on Netflix? I put them both in my list.
