i've actually only been to one show so far and from what my boss and trainer told me, that show was a joke. But it was fairly easy. Just be sure to memorize your pattern and shake the judges hand before you start, lol. I was pretty pleased, my trainer said that the judge we had was a pretty tough judge and he gave me a good rating, :)

my boss breeds gsds so it's mostly them (landheim kennels in dyer IN if you're curious, lol) I prefer dobes myself. It should be ok, and it really depends on the damage. When its getting really damaged or really brown, nix it off :3

Not many suggestions, but swords might not adjust quite well, so if you find that any leaves are begging to die, just nix those leaves, as they dont really come back to life.

To be honest, the one light is fine. I personally find (when theyre larger sized/taller), they dont need to have such high light.
