Oh, I'm so sorry. :( I think that both of our babies were just too young to be able to survive the tiny cups, betta pellets and transportation. Poppy is still doing great though, thank goodness! I got her when she was older than Lily so even though she was still a fry, she was old enough to handle the stress. She has been growing so fast, but she hasn't lost her stress stripes yet. :( But she's a bright strawberry red and distinctly female (unlike Lily). Have you gotten another baby?
Lily didn't survive. She was too fragile and eventually got some sort of fungus and died before the treatment could kick in. :( I now have a new baby, Poppy who is older than Lily was, and is much healthier. How is Pica?
That's awesome! I thought he was going to be cellophane but I guess it must be a fry thing. :) I think Lily might be a girl after all! She has the body of a girl so unless she randomly grows longer fins... Maybe I will check for an egg spot. Do you think she would have one? She's grown a lot!
Lily is getting bigger! I moved her to my community tank- she's in a breeding net for now. :) I'm hoping that since she can see the other fish everyday I can raise her to not be aggressive towards the guppies. She looks much healthier and stronger! She's very fiesty! How's Piko doing??
Piko's not the only one in an identity crisis! Lily has long ventral fins, like males! I don't know how long they usually are on female fry but I know on adult females they are pretty short! So... Lily might end up "Willy"!
Lily's pretty good, but she's a bit grumpy because I had to wake her up for her night time feeding! lol I swear she glared at me when I turned on the light! But she changed her mind when she saw the food! :D
