... Sometimes, when I spend too much time on this forum I start to get paranoid, reading all these 'emergency!' threads. I begin thinking thoughts like, 'omg, my heater isn't working, my thermometer is lying to me, it says 78 but I bet it's 60!!! my ammonia levels are spiking, Salsa's fin rot progress is digressing....' But really, everything is all good.

Little Salsa is a recent addition... I was going to purchase a beautiful HMPK from AB but a coworker said her daughter was giving away her betta fish... she wasn't interested in the poor thing anymore, so how could I resist? Salsa arrived in a 1/2 gallon tank with terrible finrot... so bad, his caudal fin resembled that of a female's that had been shredded. :( Since arriving, February 28, 2011, he's be introduced into a new tank and is slowly but surely healing. I've been taking pictures of the process and can't wait to show everyone his improvements! I actually believe he's a halfmoon and he's such a beautiful, petite little guy! :D

I stop by the tanks and peer in, Noonie's in the back tending to his bubble nest, but he sees me and wiggles over to the front to say hello... or to look for food. I offer nothing but a 'hello,' so Noonie quickly wiggles back to tend to his growing nest.
