Gravel came today! It looks so sleek. <3

I'm amazed at how much I'm still learning about fish keeping... just when I think I know it all, I learn something new. I've had bettas since... er, 1999 (?) and I still have so much to learn about. Hurray for bettas! :D

Bought some new gravel today for each of the tanks, I'm pretty excited! It's pretty different from what I normally would go for, but I think it will look very nice. I love decorating my fish tanks. XD

This one will be for Duck...

    This one for Noonie...

    And this one for Salsa...

Not yet. I have been out of town. I called several times and all I got is an answering machine and I did not leave a message because I knew I would be out of town. Since I am now back home, I will call tomorrow and leave a message and wait for them to call. I will let you know as soon as possible. I think there might be a way to modify the filter if it is too powerful by using simple filter floss and not using the regular filter cartridge that comes with it. But, in any event, I really want to take a look at it in person and I will definantly be able to tell you if it is Betta friendly and also what modifications (if needed) need to be done to make it Betta friendly. I am not looking at that tank for a Betta tank. I am looking at that tank for a small Reef tank.

100% water change today, it was a lot of fun, they all got a remodel, some new plants, and new rocks/gravel. Looks so pretty! I took some of their plants out (they're in a 'plant tank' atm, lol) and replaced them with some Anubias, I love that stuff. Anyway, I think they're enjoying having more swim space, it's not so crowded any more. ^^

Well, I believe Noonie is all better. :) There's no sign of the ich and after it fell off he was alternated between QTs for 3 more days, just to make sure. :D

The Ich has fallen off, but Noonie will continue in a clean QT for a couple more days. So far so good! :D

I hate having Noonie in a QT and I hate having to change him out every day into a clean QT. Poor little guy, wish I could tell him why he has to be in there. He is still making bubble nests, what a trooper. <3

I have this beautiful ADA tank that I purchased a couple years ago for my old Betta Chaucer, when he passed away, I cleaned out the tank and put it in storage. It's been sitting in there for months, and I keep thinking about it. I think this weekend, I'm going to divide it and use it for Salsa and Noonie, 2.5g for the both. And then I'm going to upgrade Duck's tank to that Ecopico one I'm in love with. ^^
