I love the d3100. I had the d40 before and these two cameras are in the same league but the d3100 is a major step up from the d40. A much better sensors and processing power and i went from a 6 megapixel to a 14.2. So i can make bigger prints.

How do you like the 3100??? I am using an older Nikon 5700, only 5 mega pixels but I get decent results using auto and manual modes. (No Flash) Also just added a tripod.
