I'm generally pretty dark too, but I try to keep my bettas optimistic. Although his new name isn't much better. I named him Mobius, after the Time Guardian from the Legacy of Kain series. He dies too. XD

That story actually sounds pretty cool, but then again I am pretty dark ;x

Well, it makes me think of Bartleby the Scrivner, the short story where Bartleby gives up on life and dies in a depressive slump. That seems a little too dark for me.

That's awesome! :D I'm so glad he's exploring and doing well. And haha... name him what you see fit! :] I have to say his name and his tankmate's came from the movie Dogma; not as creative as some of my other betta's names. :P

Bartleby is doing exceptionally well. The stress stripes were gone within the hour, and he's in full exploratory mode. He's a little hard to see with all of the natural colors in the tank though. Though I must admit, a possible rename may be in order.
