Should be plenty. Though I would determine what your current bulb is before you bother buying a new one.

    Hi,
I noticed you posted a recent thread regarding DIY lighting. Since you have a lot of knowledge on this subject i thought i would ask a question. . . . if thats ok

I have a 10 gallon tank in which im using a T5 light strip fixture from my 5.5 gallon so its only 12" long. The light thats in at the moment is only 8 watt (dont know the Kelvin rating)
I recently saw a light which was 8 watt full spectrum 8000k , would this be enough for my 10 gallon tank ?
