Why do you keep your goldfish at such a high temp? Looks like 78 is the highest temp they should be at. Yes, the Whiteclouds will live in 78, but they will not live as long, if you care about that :) I'd have to look at the profile again, but I do know they are best kept at cooler temps, say 68 degrees. Your goldfish may prefer that temp too, once you can place the pleco. They probably need a temp of 76-78. The other fish I wouldn't mind placing, though no hurry at all, they do need tropical temps of 76-78.
Sounds like you're having a good time with your new fish! :) I'm going through a rough patch. Seems that one of my fish caught a bacteria, and a few others died last week, no illness, just died. So i'm thinking I need to by some fish antibiotics. Take care and use my personal email next time, if you need assistance. Guess you can't send email addresses in here for some reason but its teddz7 at gmail.com
Take care "Gwen in NM", ha ha
Hey! I hadn't saved your personal message. So, what I had to do was seperate the male and female Gourami, because the male is so darn aggressive! He's in my smaller tank by himself. The female is soooo happy with the Dwarf Rainbows and loaches. So, I guess I'm just keeping things as they are. I did buy a Bolivian Ram today. He/she is also in the larger tank. Don't trust the Gourami/male with anyone. He's a crabby man! Hope you're well. How is your fishkeeping going???
Hey, I stupidly bought 2 Opaline Gourami's one male and one female. The male is chasing the female, and I realize I should not have 2 together. Are you interested in taking one of these from me? Since you live in Abq, I thought you may want one. I wouldn't charge you of course.
