I will look up your thread...... Planning a trip this spring back home New Jersey (I live in Maryland now) only 125 miles, There is a cedar swamp when I was raising fish years ago all my driftwood/water came from there. The bettas were in their glory low ph soft h2o oozing w great muck and micros. Holding off starting 2 nano tanks till I can collect from there. Too cold right now to be splashing about. Setsuna is putting together a deal w/ his Malaysian buddy to fill the 2 tanks I have open right now..... Mahachaiensis and smardagina........cant wait! Ed

Thanks for adding your opinion on the LittleLeaf thread. That kid seems to come up with new drama whenever people stop paying attention to her and the newer members don't realize her history here.

Hey! I was wondering if you could do my one of the biggest favors ever. I am looking at a female to breed with my male, but I only have 7 hours left until the bid is over. So, I'm sort of in a time crunch. However, I want others' opinions, because I'm trying to decide on if her anal fin is too long. I have both pictures of my male and female in the same thread. The male is on the first page, and the female is the last one uploaded in that thread. It is the "I want to start out right" thread under the breeding section. Please help, lol. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated!

Do you know roughly when unimaculata complex fry start using their labyrinth organs?

I do apologize that my experiment bothered you. I do feel terrible about even thinking about it. I do care deeply about my little treasures (fish), for instance I only use live plants. Bottomline, just popped in to say your post made me feel guilty and sad.

Hey LBF. I currently have an (almost empty) 10G tank at the moment (it contains 1 snail). I've seen your sorority tanks numerous times on here and I'm well aware that you believe the key to a healthy sorority, is an overstocked, but well cared for sorority. I was wondering if you could make some recommendations on how many fish you think I ought to aim for, plant types, and filtration. I have a thread in the betta fish care forum detailing what I'd like to do, though I'm really open to all suggestions and information, and I was hoping you'd help me out. Feel free to get back to me whenever, or however you'd like. Thank you! :)
