I've just been reading up on them and now I *really* want to keep my 5 gallon running with a pair of persephones or coccina. Le sigh. I don't think I'll be able to convince my mother than three tanks are better than two, though. :(
Also love the look of smaragdina. Maybe I'll put a pair in with my embers.
Channoides are super pretty too.
Hey LBF..i am in need of some help i was told yu may be able to help i have a VT that may have Lymphsistis..and im not sure if I shuld put him down or wait it out..its only been a week or so..but he cannot eat..and struggles to breathe..what do yu suggest,?

Planning a trip this spring back home New Jersey (I live in Maryland now) only 125 miles, There is a cedar swamp when I was raising fish years ago all my driftwood/water came from there. The bettas were in their glory low ph soft h2o oozing w great muck and micros. Holding off starting 2 nano tanks till I can collect from there. Too cold right now to be splashing about. Setsuna is putting together a deal w/ his Malaysian buddy to fill the 2 tanks I have open right now..... Mahachaiensis and smardagina........cant wait! Ed
