    That's your choice, I've never used it. But if you don't him to suffer than yes. That has to be the worst case of dropsy I've seen. It's a terrible disease. I'm sure you did nothing to cause this (unless you fed him live black or brown worms). Some fish just get it. :/

    Nope. It's kidney failure, once the kidneys go the whole body goes. Putting epsom salt in your water may reduce the swelling but dropsy is fatal. I'm sorry :(

    Your fish has bad dropsy. It's 100% fatal. Nothing you could've done to prevent it :(

    I've delt with it 4 times and it's the worst thing to see your betta go through that.
