Fishy took a turn for the worse, he blew up again, and I don't know if he'll recover. Put him in new water and aquarium salt, and hopefully he takes to it. I don't know if the maracyn two worked or not, but it doesn't seem like it. Any other suggestions?

Fishy is still doing great! I posted pics from last night. He still has a small lump on one side, but that's it. He's very active, and eating well.

How about aquarium salt, if yes then put it in whole or dissolve?

I don't want him to suffer, but I don't have the heart to do it either. We have only had him for a year, but we are very attached!!

I never kill fish. I don't have the heart too. I'm one of the few breeders who dosen't kill perfectly good fish just because they're not great quality.

Do you let your fish live out his life or try the freezer method?

Hmm. Then what I'm thinking is the bacteria from the popeye infected his kidneys and shut them down. If he wont go near food don't feed him.
