I've seen really expensive kind at petsmarts and petco's but you can make you're own. Just look up how to make tank dividers on here.

Well I have 6.6 gallon with one betta. A 10 gallon tank to divide in 2. A 2 gallon cheese puff jar which will be upgraded. A 3 gallon which will probobly be swapped with a 5 gallon. Another 10 gallon with no light because the bigger cheese puff jar cracked because of the water's wight so I had to get one for 10$ at petco

I used playground sand (purchased from Lowe's or Home Depot), and rinsed it very well in warm water. I still used my siphon to clean the tank, I just held the siphon above the sand, and it picked up everything laying on top.

Really, I love the way sand looks. To me, it appears more natural than most gravel that's available. It's not any harder to clean when it comes to water changes, it just takes a little longer to rinse before putting it in the tank.

Howdy Rawriie. Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, I thought it was messy. Other people may not have had problems, but I didn't like how it kicked up in the water if it was disturbed. :)

    Hey Rawriie~

Just look around for good heaters that allow you to set the temperature, Petsmart and Petco sell the Marineland heater.

Filters are easy. Most are acceptable, even if they have a high filter flow because you can always baffle them to slow them down. Ask around the forums or the Quick Question Thread. Other people will definately be able to give you great advise on filters for your 5 gallon ^_^
