Well, he's still eating like a pig and he seems lively enough. He made a nest last night.

I had to move, so we went on an hour and a half car ride, and he tore up his tail. His eye looks a little worse, too. I still don't know how that could happen. The water's been as good as I can keep it, and ammonia always tests zero...

ha ha i always tell the pets at home staff off. The other week i was arguing with the staff about a betta which they thought was a female but it was actullay just a male with fin damage i was stood for about a hour telling her that it wosent a female.

Haha! Bold little fellow. Did you rinse the gravel well before you put it in? Maybe that's what's clouding your water....

I'm not much help for names. I give all my critters weird names, as you can see from my signature. If I had your fish, I would probably name him Blue. Or Fitzgerald. :S

It's good that you're on top of it. c:

I've never had issues with clouding in Freed's tank... what's in your tank? Other than your fish, of course. :P

    Awww!! :P

One of my friends has a similar problem. His betta decided that it liked the neon tetra's food. Now it eats its own food, and also the tetra's food.
