he hasnt been bitting any..his tail is showing that is trying to regrow...i change his water every 3 days and treat with a little aqua salt...hope it heals it..

Have you tried anything to treat it?
OldFishLady on here suggested to speed up regrowth.. to start using aquarium salt & feeding him a higher protein diet...Just can't figure out what "toys" he likes best...I don't see how he'd be bored?

right now all thats left of his pretty tail is one little strand :(

thats sucks...i have a tail bitter in my gang too...Ace the pretty marble looking one...hope yours get to feeling better soon

The delta's tail is now bitten up though... :( Poor guy is neurotic.
