Well he's... I'm not entirely sure. Something is going on with him but we're not exactly sure what. I've been talking with lilnaugrim, Sakura8 and LittleBlueFishlets so hopefully between us all we can figure it out. What do you think? It's a really, really long story but basically he's lethargic. His heat is fine and I can't see any other symptoms. He seems to perk up a bit after a fresh change of spring water, but after several days goes back to being lethargic.

yeah he seems okay now I stopped treatment 2 days ago and so far so good. but I bought another box of general cure and I'll do another treatment to be sure. the only thing is he pushed out his right gill from time to time but only for about 10 secs and then it goes back but no other symptoms other than so maybe thats more permanent damage but ill still continue. things are looking good (: and him being back in his 10 gal with all his plants and decor I think help

Oh, it was just out of curiousity. My first betta that I adopted, only lived to about a year and a half, I made a lot of mistakes but now have two happy bettas that I hope will live very long. :)

    Hi Anhel123,
I'm the girl with the uh very very sick betta...=[
So I recently bought a heater and was wondering if 30 degrees Celsius is too much? (I have not placed my betta in the water yet, because I want to be sure... I currently have him isolated in a 1.5 gallon tank, he has been swimming and is sometimes occasionally blowing bubbles? I'm putting still a pinch of Api aquarium salt (he's not pineconing) and normal water conditioner. I have not been feeding him b/c his tummy is severely bloated and I read that it'd best I didn't (haven't fed him for 3 days...) I also have stopped using the melafix for his popeye. He has not gone to the bathroom so I have no information regarding what maybe happening internally. He hasn't gotten better, but neither has he gotten worse...Hope you can help me make Pineapple better. T_T

Hey, can you check out a thread entitled, "can't diagnose little Vengeance" by SomeFormOFhuman? I suspect Velvet, but haven't had to deal with it personally. Thank God, and knock on wood!

Yeah I'm okay but really starting to study harder now. The adoption did not come off :( they said I could adopt them but when it came down to it they didn't really want to part with them (despite having over 100 rescue pigs). I was very disappointed wish they would have just told me that in the first place..... anyways I have decided to buy some piggies locally just trying to find a suitable hutch which is proving very difficult. Anyways I hope you are well too :)

Me too! :) I'm not sure what I would do if I didn't have them.
