Finally getting some progress. I partnered him up in the double tank with one of the other boys to try and build his immunity.
Problem is he cant play nice and keeps ramming the barricade, hopefully not much longer and he can go back to his forever alone tank.
(sorry it took so long, for some reason I got no notification about your post to my email)
I have no idea why I can't open this web site with my laptop, but I can using my tablet. I use them at home, oth on the same wireless router. I haven't been able to add anymore pictures on here, but I did put some on my facebook page.
YES he is still alive! I have been changing his water more often and doing 100% changes. He never regained his vigor from before, and never built another bubble nest, but he eats eagerly and swims around some. I'm quite sure he has a swim bladder issue and yesterday I noticed the "film" on his head seems worse again so I will be treating his tank again next time I change it. I wish he was healthier, but I'm glad he's still with me! Thanks for your concern! Happy New Year to you too!
He is on his second dose of jungle lifeguard all-in-one treatment and I added 1 tbs of aquarium salt. I removed all the gravel out of his 10 gallon tank filled his tank half-full I have him in a Floating cup. I'm starting to see some white specs I did get him to eat too small flakes today he still hasn't pooped his color looks a little better but he wouldn't eat Pea. I have his temperature at 82° he's laying in his bowl and less I tap it he wont swim. It's almost like he started with swim bladder when he would eat he would float sideways, then after a few hours he was fine. now i think the ich is starting to surface. I moved my guppies to a 5 gallon tank and am treating them as well...any other suggestions? If you get a chance please look at the photos in my album. I have pics from yesterday and today...what do you think
Yes I saw mom and Grant. The weather was ok, but it was shocking to see Grant. His cheeks and eyes were sunken because he lost so much weight, and it was all mom could do to keep from crying out in pain. I have a good picture of Honey, but I don't know how to post it here. I have the picture on my other computer, but that computer won't let me go to this 9age, and since I usually use my tablet, I can't upload my camera using it.
I need some help again....
My Betta acts like he has swim bladder. Everytime he eats he ends up on his side at the top of the tank. Then after a few hours he goes back to normal. He does this everytime he is fed. I didn't feed him for 3 days and he still continues the same thing when I feed him. I went from flakes to pellits and he does the same thing. His fins look droopy like he's not feeling well. He stays at the bottom of the tank and I have to tap the tank to make him move at times. He's in the tank with 3 guppies. What should I do?
