Yes its doing good...I just did a 20% water change last Wednesday (exactly after two weeks of set up)..also feeding him betta pellets every 3 days...I tested the water with Petco yesterday..the strip shows all parameters are good.
This time am planning to stick to this schedule and hopefully the fish last long...I will take a pic today and send also....
He's doing pretty good! He's still pretty bloated, but his scales are normal and he has good color :)
He always swims on the side of the tank that i'm by and watched me do homework and stuff. Super curious little guy, he is. He even dances when i have music playing! I'm going to try an epsom salt treatment to relieve the bloating and hopefully make him look normal again. Thank you for asking! :)
Thank you for your encouragement and help through the process. You were a big help, and I don't think he would've even survived as long without your help, so I appreciate all the help you provided and I will probably buy another betta but it will take me some time.
Happy new year!! I do have some bad news about Kalamari, he is still living but I am almost certain he is nearing his last days. His gills will not close completely and he sits at the water surface motionless nearly all day, even his fins will stop moving, and his breathing slows.
Finally getting some progress. I partnered him up in the double tank with one of the other boys to try and build his immunity.
Problem is he cant play nice and keeps ramming the barricade, hopefully not much longer and he can go back to his forever alone tank.
(sorry it took so long, for some reason I got no notification about your post to my email)
