Hello, Ive been finishing up my last semester of school..and i had to stay focus but now im back on the forum..thanks for asking...btw how are u? and yes i am very lucky to have them...love them so much!!!!hope to hear from you soon
hello! Sadly my betta died :( I have figured out why (with the help of some people on TFK). The tank was barebottom and the only filtration was plants, so there was nowhere for beneficial bacteria to grow and even though I was doing weekly water changes, over time the toxins built up and eventually killed the fish. My betta tank is empty at the moment, but if I ever set it up again I'll add a substrate so that problem doesn't recur...however at the moment I'm rather enjoying only having to clean ONE tank every week, so I'm not in a hurry to set it up again, although I miss having a betta.
i'm going to rehome fantasia, and created a thread in the classifieds section. thankfully, someone who is locate is interested in him. just thought i'd give a small update. i think this person who's local may possibly be a new good owner for him *sniff*
thanks for asking! :) good to hear from you. he's 75ish% better. did aqsalt full treatment, then clean water for one day, and now trying epson salt (epson salt is helping him become his old self again). the bad thing though! i've changed his water once a week (sometimes twice) instead of daily. :( end of semester school assignments and final exams in two weeks. sooo, going to see about a one gallon container (it'll hopefully help with daily changes) that is cheap-o since this college girl needs to be good with money. :)
Yes, but I do not think that breeders should breed unless they have quality winning show dogs who have titles and genetic health testing proving that they are worth passing down genes.
Even at that, I'd rather adopt from a shelter.
When I am older every one of my dogs and cats will either be from a shelter or picked up out of a bad situation.
I do not have Teeney any more. I will PM you the link to the thread that explains it all.
