I still am glad that I moved. When I was at the home, I spent most of my time in bed, now, I am up most all day, so my energy feels drained, that will hopefully change in another month. All 3 fish are doing well. Mazda and Zoom-Zoom arebbeginning to recognize me, and since I've had Ivory moved into my living room, he is happier (getting more attention). I still think he is a bit bloated. Someone from the forum suggested to feed him mosquito larvae found outside. I'm wondering if I could just give him the freezedried bloodworm twice a week. I'm going to ask her. How r u doing?
Hello! I still have him in a 1 gallon tank. I'm going to keep him in here until the virus clears up. This morning, it appears that the virus is growing bigger on each side of his fin but has no spread to any additional areas. I guess that's the best I can hope for at this point!
Hey!thanks for checking on me. Sadly, my betta died the same night I made the post. I didn't get back on to mention it because I was very upset. I did figure out he problem though; he had ammonia poisoning. My water conditioner didn't neutralize ammonia, which I didn't know. I gotta new conditioner and have been nursing my other betta, Javert back to health from ammonia poisoning. He seems to be recovering except for the fact that he quit eating three days ago. He swims to his food, eats it, and spits it back out. It's not a new food or anything like that. Any ideas as to why he might be doing that?
Oh, hi! Thanks for asking. No, he's not any better. I gave him that Tetra Lifeguard stuff for 5 days and it didn't help so I got Kanaplex and I've given him 2 doses (the bottle says every other day), but there's no improvement yet. :o(
Actually , I was just about to post a thread...
Gary has died. My brothers (not sure which one) decided to see if bettas actually fight. (I was away from home over night) and put him in Cooper's portion of the tank... Cooper won and I lost my Gary... I'm really sad about this :(
