Thanks for asking about my fish, but he unfortunately died. The disease changed over night into fuzz covering him, and he died later that day. Don't suppose you know what that is, because I'm at a loss . . .
The one with swim bladder is fine now, much happier in his bigger tank since I moved him too. Him and the baby are a bit cold, since the heater for those two (who are my mom's) malfunctioned big time, and my heater is occupied with my fish. But I'm working on that. Might have to spend some food money for it though. Thanks for asking!
The only thing that has me slightly concerned about is the 5 scabs on Honey's back, I also want the vet to keep an eye on her weight, I'm sure she's a good weight now, but I don't want her to develop a weight problem. As for Ivory, I find that it's much easier for me to feed him once a day, and I've only given him bloodworm for 2 days a week, 2 or 3 each feeding. When he gets his bloodworm, it is instead of pellets.
Hi, honey still spends more time hiding than usual. On of the care wokers noticed she had 5 or six scabs on her back. Since there's lots of fur in her one paw, we believe she has been scratching her back and causing them herself. Ivory isn't as active as usual for a couple weeks. I think even ivory misses her. I'm having the vet come here next month. I want him to meet honey and check her out.
Last week, Honey discovered that she LOVES boxes. She has been laying in a box for over a week. She comes out in the morning for some cuddle time, then she goes back into her box for the rest of the day. Ivory, I put the rock back in his tank, so he could hide in the hollow part, after I watched him for a few minutes, I think his swimming is a bit off. He has been resting on top of the rock. It looks like he doesn't always swim upright, as if he is coming down with swim bladder, so I didn't feed him tonight.
