I know what you mean about people not understanding the necessary precautions. The way it was brought up and suggesting I didn't know what I was doing... it was a bit offending. I love rescuing and treating sickly betta and I've been doing it for some time now. But I will thank you for trying to inform. :)
Please understand, however, that not everyone rushes blindly into rescues and that you should approach the subject less condescendingly
Sorry about that , i just recently got a little paranoid that people don't realized it. I just spoke to a few people who brought sick bettas home and share all equipment between new sick fish and her healthy fish. So forgive me for that , i really just trying to help. I wish every one know that , but some people don't realize simple precautions that are really important. Sorry again.
Yes only if you have another betta:) I was not sure if you do:) But i stull like to keep them in the hospital tank for a few weeks when they new . Or in the main tank but without gravel and decorations. I am talking to someone who brought betta from the store and it just lived for 4 days and died. Now he has to disinfect 5 gall tank, gravel, decorations, live plants....etc.
would you forgive me if i will give one advice:) I am getting a little bit paranoid lol So many people don't realize that if you have new betta from the store always quarantine it, never share anything between sick or new betta and your other fish.
