Um I just applied for everything really and had full availability. I mena I suppose you can pick your area but they give you a checklist of sorts nad I just applied to the areas where I would feel comfortable. If anything in the interview try to mention about wanting to work in the pets department. I do believe once you get hired your able to apply elsewhere somehow. Mostly when they hiore they hire by demand. So if say the grocery section needs help then that would have a higher priority to fill then say the pets department.
