- 08-08-2011 05:25 PM - permalinkshinybettaYes! Both of my marbled crayfish are carrying eggs, so expecting loads of babies!
- 08-05-2011 03:10 PM - permalinkshinybettaSorry about Ms Marbles, and sorry about the late reply, I haven't been active lately. At least you have a bunch of Ms. Marbles Jr's. I beleive my crayfish either have eggs or recently molted, as I have not seen any of them out in over a month (though I do see their feelers sticking out of their PVC pipes. Any Idea how many babies you have?
- Do you have any pictures of your little yellow guy with the transparent fins? I'd love to see a bigger version :)
- 05-03-2011 11:20 AM - permalinkshinybettaI posted the crayfish colony pics in the Lounge.
- I set up a thread with a few picture of my new fishes :) i tried posting a link here... and tried to get a link to work in a PM... but i guess im not that advanced LOL... but i also have updated pictures on my album
- oh shoot... i totally missed this message O_O sorry, I'll be posting them tomorrow... I dont have a SD slot on my compy so i have to borrow my dad's in the morning
- 04-29-2011 08:37 PM - permalinkshinybettaThose crustacean/ vegetable flakes sound good. Crayfish aren't very picky, the most important part of feeding is mantaining the balance between nutrients. These crayfish like 60% plant matter and 40% meat. They also love anacharis as a treat!
- I received the two betta from Michelle today, and I have to say that I'm very happy that i choose to take the replacement, he looks even better in person. And the yellow HM female that she sent me as an apology is very pretty as well. Im pretty sure that i'll do business with her again in the future. As soon as I get them acclimated and taken care of I'll post pictures of them : )
- 04-28-2011 06:22 PM - permalinkshinybettaHoe big are your algea tabs? I would feed 1 twice a day, plus some flakes. See how much they eat, and if they eat it all in less than 15 min. add some more.
- 04-28-2011 09:03 AM - permalinkshinybettaI would still feed the algea tabs, these crayfish need more plant matter then meat, and most flakes are meat based. I would put the algea tabs and a few flakes. Maybe crush the algea tab up a bit so there are lots of pieces for the babies. How many babies do you think you have? Oh, and they usually don't overfeed themselves, but any leftover food would foul the water. I feed them a lot, but the corydoras eat the leftovers. And anyway, these guys are scavengers, so they are used to not always stuffing themselves
