I am ashamed of you. A happy betta in a 1/2 gallon? I wonder if your betta is happy? What is he or she in? Put more thought and research in that post. A happy (cold and unhappy) betta in a half gallon with no heating or filtered water? Only cleaned once a week? Gosh!

This is kinda wrong. A heater is a must in the cold seasons unless you want a cold unhappy fish. Temp is dangerous and you can't depend on luck forever peaches. A filter is a recommended thing and will be helpful during the cleaning period. A half gallon tank is too small and will need more cleaning then that! Peaches, a happy betta would be in a 2.5 gallon or a 5 gallon not a half gallon. PM me if you want to defend your post.
