They're ok. My 8 weekers love them but they're not very nutritional. It's good to mix em with BBS. If you order it'll be $10 plus shipping and I'll send directions written by Linda Olson.

    OOOH that sucks :/

BTW I'm reculturing my microworms next week and I might sell starter cultures. Lemme know if you want one.

My desk is super light so that's the first thing to go!

Also I move my fry at around 2 1/2 weeks so changing 1 gallon of water a day for 2 weeks won't kill me :P Some breeders use things like Tupperware (like itty bitty ones) to spawn...IDK how they do it!

I prefer a smaller breeding tank so I can move the fry more easily. I don't like sucking them up into a turkey baster and then squirting them into cups. I prefer to float a tank for a few hours, mix a little water, sit for an hour, mix a little more and then release.

My room is a total mess too! I moved my bed to a different wall today and I might end up getting more shelves :P

Nice! I'm getting a new shelf on Tuesday so I'll probably get a couple 2.5 gallons for spawning tanks and like 30 gallons for growout. I can't wait!

Your pair is what 6 months? That's fine. Bettas breed up to 14 months old. In maybe another month I'll start selling but in the mean time continue to try your pair!

Good luck! I'm starting to see a few females pop up in the spawn so if you want a niece lemme know!

Hmmm. Well I say your set up is the problem. Id suck it up and get a 10 gallon tank. Itll be easier to keep clean.

What chemicals are you using in your water?

    That should be fine :)

BTW when you move the fry to the growout, drain the water into a bucket until there's less than an inch of water. Unplug the heater and place it in the bucket for cooling. Clap the lid back on top and transfer the fry to the growout...I just did this on my spawning tub last night and it worked great!
