BTW, your method worked, but he sometimes still lays on the bottom. He got bored of the mirror after 20 mins but still goes up to it sometimes.

I'm "Trouble" =D So have you bought any more Bettas? That's so sad that you lost so many. I have one right now, but he's my sixth or something. I've lost count of how many died when I was younger. :)
