Thanks for the advice. I ended up finding the exact filter cartridge I needed. I thought it was going to be hard to find but it was under 4 bucks for 2 of them.

In a post a few days ago you mentioned that you can make your own spong filter.... I had questions about what kind of sponges. My fiance's MAKES sponges. Sea sponges, dish sponges, car sponges. I was kind of afraid to use the bright colored car sponges. Whats your opinion?
