Went to the barn, got a bit mad at the horse (being rowdy today, threw me off twice, grr), got some work done, babysat for 5 hours or so, then rushed off to Big Al's to get Leo. :P And that's my day.

I know this is a... well, kind of personal (for lack of a better word) question, but if you don't mind me asking, what was the rough shipping cost for Tux? I've been considering buying from Aquabid, but I'm a bit leary of the prices.

In terms of the parasites... there is a good possibility, yes... When you next do your water changes, put in 1 tsp of aq salt per gallon- and if he twitches, tries to cough something up, or spurts around the tank like he's in pain/agitated, those are good signs that he has parasites. Do you know how to treat him for gill parasites?

sure :) If he does, that'd be awesome~ right now he's steely blue with black fins, though in some lights he almost looks green with silvery black fins.

Oh, and I've noticed he likes to yawn pretty frequently (today I saw him yawn 5 times or so)... should I be worried about gill parasites?

    Yeah, the fishies love them.
