Not exactly sure what you mean, but all the tail types, VT CT DT DBT and so on, are betta splendens. Splendens is a species, and the tail types are just different variates of it.

You can breed different tail types but you need to research because if you just randomly breed two tail types you'll get weird looking fry.

also, can any types of betta breed?
like for say a "splenden" and a "crowntail"

72 is too low for breeding. Up it to at least 80.

Sounds like your water is too hard. Try getting some IAL or BWE

and yes I have a cover on the top.

What temp is the water?

Do you have a cover on the tank?

My betta is making bubble but they keep poppping.
