You mean adding the female fry to the male Betta and white clouds....I don't see why not...depending on how big they males never seem to bother the betta fry...but the betta fry love picking on the adult male long one of my males in a half grown fry tank and they shredded his fins...big would watch them and make sure he won't eat them.....

Hello! I have a male , a very calm one. Living with 6 white clouded minnow fry which are small. I was wondering if I would be able to add some of the small female betta fry that are getting picked on in the fry tank. The tank that the male lives in is stuffed with silk plants.

You never know...these guys can surprise you can do is all you can do....also depending on how old she is too....rare, but it can happen is egg bound-looks just like dropsy symptom and they usually do not recover.......

Also, you can go up to 3tsp/gal-on the Epsom salt if needed-just do it slow 1tsp at a time every 12-24h to tolerance ....

You can also try broad spectrum antibiotic...I don't use them so I can't recommend anything.....

    good luck.....

Are you talking about moving a cycled filter to a uncycled tank to jump start the yes, then

    Hey........ again!! .....laffs.....

Would I be able to move a cycled filter from one tank to a different tank ? And would it start to cycle again?

If the filter is in a heavy planted tank-then the cycle is moot in a sense-with enough plants they usually will provide the nitrifying bacteria with the oxygen they need-in unplanted tanks the good bacteria will be limited due to lack of oxygen-in small tanks it really doesn't matter that much due to water change needs

As far as your shrimp...I have no idea why they are not staying out in the open especially during feeding time...mine do....they do tend to stay in the plants more than in the open when no food is present.....maybe they need more time.....

Hey oldfishlady!!! I have a few questions . If I keep the filter off will I lose the cycle??
Also I have a planted nano with rcs and you never see them the always hiding in the shadows and they never jump on the algae wafers. Why? There breeding as
I have lots of fry and berried females but I never see the shrimp walking along the foreground.
